We offer several services including personal training, men’s and women’s boot camps and of course, CrossFit training. MW Crossfit targets an extremely wide-ranged demographic spanning men and women of all ages - from rehabilitation clients through elite athletes. MW Crossfit is led by highly educated, experienced personal trainers who have a passion for health, fitness and helping others. Our new clients quickly find out that we're very different from other gyms. We don't use much equipment (we prefer to train your body to move in the ways for which it was built). This approach is far from the industry standard, we know; that's fine with us. We enjoy the support of many physicians and chiropractors. Instead of parking you on a machine for an hour, our workouts and exercises improve the way you move, lessen your chance of injury, and help you live your life better.
Each CrossFit workout is a combination of a warm-up, skill work, a WOD (workout of the day) and a cool down/stretch. You may do a WOD different than the person next to you, depending on your goals, but the movements will essentially be the same. We will scale workouts to your ability but can also tweak them slightly to get you to your goal (football player vs. triathlete, for example). Your Mighty Warrior coach will be your trainer, your guide, your CrossFit mentor and your biggest fan.
We are currently training in our facility located on Trentwood Court in Brownstown MI. It's built for performance, our style of quick, intense workouts, and for an atmosphere of change and success. It feels like a Coliseum because our workouts feel like events! If you're new to Crossfit, the first step is to stop by for a free chat with one of our coaches. No pressure; we're exercise professionals, not salespeople. We'll listen. Then we'll help you chart a path toward the person you'd like to be. That may include personal training, boot camps or small group CrossFit intro classes. Most clients will train three to four times per week. We always include a food plan for every client; it's part of your new lifestyle, after all. Our philosophy is to teach people to move better through practice; to use novelty and intensity to create a fun environment of constant progress, and to maintain education as our primary goal for both coaches and clients.
